Located in a privileged setting between Malaga and Marbella, the iconic 1980s Byblos immerses us in the atmosphere and architecture of Andalusia, where the coolest bohemian luxury invites us to let ourselves go and dive deep inside ourselves.
It belongs to the important hotel group Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, for whom we have already carried out projects such as the Dreams Macao Beach hotel, Secrets Cozumel or projects we are currently working on such as Gran Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa.
From Room1804, we were in charge of the interior design project of the Penthouse room, located at one end of the building, from where you can enjoy the best sunset experience in Mijas.
The common thread of the design was the Marbella 80’s, celebrating luxury, local and contemporary culture, heritage and the roots of the past, with a hedonistic undertone where relaxation and fun blur their boundaries.
We sought to transform the neutral, Mediterranean container we had into spaces that would stand out for their vibrancy and sophistication, and to this end we included sculptural elements with a strong emphasis on providing a unique ambience. With the different contributions of colour, patterns and 80’s inspired furniture, we achieved a sexy and “playful” space where the guest vibrates and enjoys.
A hidden treasure in the Andalusian landscape waiting to be discovered.
