The Four Points by Sheraton hotel is located in one of the most exclusive areas of the colonial city of Cartagena, Colombia. With a mild climate, a privileged location on the Caribbean coast, the Four Points Cartagena hotel becomes the ideal meeting point for business and tourism travellers to explore this fantastic land.
Room1804 was in charge of the interior design of the common areas, meeting room, gym, rooftop, hotel restaurants and the beach club.
Something characteristic of Cartagena de Indias are its cobbled streets and colourful colonial buildings, something that we wanted to transmit to the flooring of the lobby project and in specific areas of the restaurant.
We played with different furniture to achieve variety in the project, the bright colours in combination with oak wood, gives a touch of sophistication and elegance.
On the rooftop we selected linear geometric textiles and teak wood, we added decorative elements from the local culture to transmit the essence of the place. In this line, in the beach club we selected bamboo reed and dry stone wall for the guest to feel the Caribbean character.
