The Embassy Suites Aruba by Hilton hotel is ideal for a beach holiday or event in Aruba. Just one kilometre from Eagle Beach and three kilometres from Palm Beach, it has become one of the favourite hotels for first-time visitors to this beautiful island off the coast of Venezuela.
For this project, Room1804 was commissioned to renovate the hotel’s common areas and sky bar.
The European influence can be perceived in the architecture of Aruba, something we wanted to transmit in the project. We played with the use of dark woods to bring warmth to the space, light textiles in contrast with some touches of colour, to give a vibrant touch to the room.
We used local decorative elements, such as the use of handicrafts, which we incorporated into the project in order to make the guest feel that they are in the Caribbean, and we added vegetation to the common areas, the restaurant and the rooftop.
